Boyfriend Lands in Neon’s World
FNF vs Advent Neon is a full-week Friday Night Funkin’ crossover with Advent NEON, a fast action game created by CryoGX. Boyfriend and Girlfriend travel across dimensions and arrive in Neon’s futuristic world, where they meet the green-haired synthezoid hero.
Neon initially tries to help the pair after realizing they do not belong there. Boyfriend has another idea and turns the meeting into a rhythm battle.
The mod was created by the same developer behind Advent NEON, so the character, music, and visual ideas connect directly to the original game rather than using Neon as an unrelated guest character.
Battle Through Three Original Tracks
The week contains three songs: HIGHRISE-F, ORDINANCE-F, and TRANSGRESSION-F. They are rearranged versions of music connected to Advent NEON. The â-Fâ versions were made specifically for the Friday Night Funkin’ crossover.
The normal FNF controls still apply. Watch the moving arrows and press the matching directions when they reach the target row.
The first song introduces Neon’s musical style. The patterns grow more demanding as the week continues, leading into the final confrontation.
See Neon Reach Max Power
Neon has a special powered-up state called Max mode in the original Advent NEON. That idea also appears during the FNF mod.
During TRANSGRESSION-F, Neon changes appearance. Their eyes and body effects turn bright green, and the character becomes surrounded by charged energy. This matches Neon’s ability to build Resonance power and transform when enough energy has been gathered.
That transformation helps the final song feel different from the earlier battles without changing the basic rhythm controls.
FNF vs Advent Neon is a fairly compact mod with only three main tracks, but each song belongs to the same story and setting. The custom backgrounds, character art, remixed music, and Max transformation give the week its own identity.
