About Friday Night Funkin Encore

I finally got around to checking out Friday Night Funkin Encore, and I’ll admit it gave me all the same thrills the first time I fired up the original. It drops you right back into the flow of rapid-fire beats and arrow-chasing fun, but with a handful of fresh tracks that somehow feel both familiar and completely new. The characters you’ve fallen for make a return too, throwing down new verses that really keep you on your toes.

What struck me most was how the Encore content wasn’t just a quick add-on—it’s got a real sense of polish. You’ll notice sharper animations and backgrounds that pop in ways that remind you why you loved the simple, hand-drawn style to begin with. There are moments when your heart is racing because the tempo spikes, and other times when you can lean back and enjoy a cool groove that almost feels like a breather before the next onslaught.

Playing through Encore also felt like a community celebration. Fans have been swapping high scores and dissecting each song’s patterns as if they were hidden puzzles, and I totally get it. There’s just enough variety that no two runs feel the same, so even if you replay a level five times, you’re still finding new nuances in the timing and rhythm.

All in all, whether you’re the kind of person who memorizes every beat or you’re just along for a good time, Encore packs enough content to keep you dancing through the night. It’s exactly the kind of extra push the series needed, and it left me smiling every time I cleared a tricky section.
